Marble sculpture courses with accommodation
At my Studio in Balbano, in the countryside of Lucca, I organize personalized and individual Courses to learn marble working techniques.
Depending on the availability of those interested, the course can be a 1-week or 2-week package that includes:
The working techniques will start with the manual use of chisels and sledgehammers for chiselling, moving on to the use of a jackhammer, grinders for finishing and final hand sanding.
The use of cutting discs, for safety reasons, will not be possible. If needed, I will do the cutting myself.
Classes are normally held in the morning from 9.00 to 13.00 with Sunday free. In the afternoon participants can continue their work independently or visit Lucca and its beautiful surroundings.
Costs
July – August: 7-days curse at 1200 € VAT included + 40€ accident insurance.
September – June: 7-days curse at 800 € VAT included + 40€ accident insurance.
Single lessons of marble sculpture
Do you live in the area of Lucca or nearby, but you wish to learn marble sculpture, or improve your carving techniques?
I also offer custom lessons 2-hours long, that can be scheduled on a regular basis or according to the needs.
Tools, materials and insurance are included in the price.
The cost of each 2-hours lesson is 50€ including VAT + 40€ accident insurance (valid for one year)
